Account Director, Financial Institutions - APAC

About the Role

You will own the full sales lifecycle for APAC financial institution accounts. You will identify and engage key stakeholders, qualify opportunities, deliver persuasive demonstrations and trials, and close six- and seven-figure deals. You will design and execute territory plans, run sales campaigns, build pipeline, and drive renewals, upsells, and expansions. You will translate customer needs into product value, spearhead first-time implementations of blockchain intelligence into customer workflows, gather and prioritize customer feedback, and coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure successful onboarding and outcomes. Expect regular regional travel and frequent high-level executive interactions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years selling SaaS into APAC financial institutions, or 4+ years with expert domain knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of regional banking workflows, procurement norms, and organizational dynamics across APAC
  • Experience engaging senior executives and compliance decision-makers
  • Familiarity with AML regulatory frameworks and digital asset compliance developments
  • Proven storytelling and value proposition development skills
  • Hunter and farmer sales mindset with track record of closing large deals
  • Ability to adapt quickly to shifting market goals and operate autonomously
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with virtual currencies and blockchain applications is a plus
  • Fluency in English; additional Asian language skills a bonus
  • Willingness to travel up to 2-3 times per month
