Account Director Public Sector (APAC)
About the Role
You will own the full sales cycle for public sector customers across APAC. You will research and generate opportunities, run presentations and demos, manage product trials, and close deals. You will build and execute account plans, maintain and report on a pipeline of strategic opportunities, and nurture customer relationships through renewals, upsells, and expansions. You will develop and manage partnerships across the region, gather and prioritize customer feedback, and respond quickly to urgent customer requests. Expect regular interaction across time zones and travel of up to 50%.
Requirements
- 5+ years Public Sector SaaS sales experience
- Knowledge of law enforcement national security defence and financial regulation verticals
- Experience establishing credibility with senior public sector officers
- Experience with partnership development and management
- Strong presentation listening and communication skills
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of cryptocurrencies digital assets and blockchain
- Familiarity with AML and KYC regulatory frameworks
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Fluency in English and at least one ASEAN language (Thai Tagalog Hindi Tamil Malay)
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt to changing goals
- Willingness to travel up to 50 percent
- Can be based in Singapore The Philippines Thailand or India
