Account Director, US Law Enforcement
About the Role
You will own and execute the entire sales process for US Law Enforcement customers, from prospecting and account mapping to demonstrations, trials, and deal close. You will identify stakeholders, build strategic account plans, nurture relationships to drive renewals and upsells, and gather and champion customer feedback to shape product direction.
Requirements
- 8+ years selling SaaS products into federal agencies
- Strong knowledge of US Law Enforcement accounts and workflows
- Experience with government contracting and government partners
- Ability to establish credibility with senior SLED executives
- Customer-facing presentation and listening skills
- Storytelling and value proposition development skills
- Adaptability and ability to react to changing goals
- Autonomous, collaborative, and excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Own the entire sales process with new and existing customers
- Map accounts and identify key stakeholders and decision makers
- Prospect to discover new stakeholders and use cases
- Nurture client relationships and manage renewals, upsells, and expansions
- Create and execute strategic account plans
- Demonstrate product and subject matter expertise across sales stages
- Gather, prioritize, and advocate customer feedback internally
- Develop customer loyalty and referral champions
- Drive pipeline growth including adding $150K in qualified pipeline per week and creating regular sales campaigns
