Accounting Manager
About the Role
You will build and lead the financial backbone of the company by overseeing accounting, reporting, compliance, and treasury operations. You will run the monthly close and reconciliations, produce accurate financial statements and management reports, maintain internal controls, and manage audits. You will design and automate workflows across payables, payroll, and reporting using tools like QuickBooks, Brex, and Rippling, and streamline multisig treasury and approval processes. You will manage crypto wallets and reconcile on-chain holdings, coordinate with external accountants and auditors across jurisdictions, support board reporting and investor updates, and maintain equity administration and cap table integrity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in accounting finance or related roles
- Deep understanding of GAAP and multi-entity accounting
- Experience managing audits and external financial relationships
- Hands-on experience with finance tools such as QuickBooks Brex Integral Rippling Aleph Abacus Baremetrics Drivetrain
- Highly organized analytical and proactive
- Exposure to crypto accounting multisig wallets and on-chain financial tools (nice to have)
- CPA or equivalent qualification (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Lead and improve the monthly close reconciliation and reporting process
- Deliver timely accurate financial statements and management reports
- Maintain internal controls and documentation across entities
- Build efficient workflows for payables payroll and reporting
- Drive automation using QuickBooks Brex Rippling and on-chain tools
- Streamline multisig and treasury approval processes
- Oversee accounting and tax compliance across US Canada UAE and Cayman entities
- Coordinate with external accountants auditors and tax advisors
- Support audits insurance renewals and risk management initiatives
- Manage company crypto wallets and reconcile on-chain holdings
- Integrate crypto flows into the accounting stack with engineering and operations
- Design internal audit processes for crypto custody and transaction controls
- Support board reporting investor updates and financial modeling
- Manage equity administration and cap table integrity
