Accounting Manager
About the Role
You will lead the month-end, quarterly, and financial close processes and manage members of the accounting team. You will supervise daily accounting operations, prepare and review reconciliations and supporting schedules, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to execute external audits. You will ensure compliance with GAAP and international statutory reporting requirements, develop and maintain accounting policies and internal controls, implement scalable processes to support growth, and enable timely internal and external financial reporting. You will also have the opportunity to immerse yourself in blockchain technology and enterprise cryptocurrency topics as part of your work.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years combined public accounting (audit) and private/in-house accounting experience
- Start-up and/or financial services experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license with strong knowledge of GAAP
- Experience overseeing and managing an accounting team
- Proficiency with NetSuite ERP or other cloud-based accounting software
- Drive to continuously improve accounting operations, controls and financial reporting processes
- Excellent organizational, time management, communication and interpersonal skills
