Agent Operations Territory Lead
About the Role
You will manage product rollouts and lead agent recruitment and training in your territory. You will ensure agents comply with legal and policy requirements, verify contracts, monitor cash and float availability, conduct routine field visits to assess performance and risk, identify and close underperforming agents, recover equipment, coordinate branding and supplies, and act as the primary contact for agency networks. Expect extensive travel within assigned territories.
Requirements
- At least 2 years managing an agent network in Côte d’Ivoire mobile money, agency banking, or FMCG sectors
- Proven ability to manage field operations across large geographical areas
- Willingness to travel and spend up to 90% of time in assigned territories
- Experience in upcountry operations
- Fluency in French and a good level of English
- Work authorization in Côte d’Ivoire
Responsibilities
- Manage agent recruitment and training
- Ensure agent compliance with legal and policy requirements
- Verify execution of valid agent contracts
- Train agents on applications, contracts, rebalancing, and fraud management
- Coordinate branding and supplies with marketing (BTL) team
- Monitor agent cash and float availability
- Perform routine field visits to assess performance and risk
- Identify and close underperforming agent accounts and recover equipment
- Serve as primary contact for agency networks
- Champion excellent customer service among distributors and agents
