AI and Automation Lead
About the Role
You will lead company wide AI and automation efforts. You will run an organization wide audit of AI tools and automation practices, identify gaps and quick wins, and maintain an opportunity map with clear success metrics. You will drive initiatives end to end from discovery and business case through PoC pilot rollout and adoption, and measure outcomes. You will establish an AI governance framework with attention to data handling access and vendor approvals. You will coordinate cross department execution remove blockers and align stakeholders. You will evaluate and onboard external vendors manage due diligence and TCO ROI considerations. You will create documentation decision logs and playbooks and report progress and impact while staying current with AI industry developments.
Requirements
- Experience delivering cross functional technology and automation initiatives with measurable business impact
- Strong understanding of AI and LLM capabilities limitations and practical automation integration approaches
- Experience with APIs workflow integrations iPaaS or RPA
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and drive execution in ambiguous environments
- Strong analytical skills defining KPIs setting baselines measuring outcomes and iterating based on data
- Excellent business and technical communication documentation and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with modern delivery tools such as Jira Confluence and Notion
- Strong English communication skills
- Experience in fintech payments or other regulated environments with strict information security requirements (nice to have)
- Hands on exposure to LLM platforms APIs and patterns like retrieval search augmentation classification or process copilots (nice to have)
- Vendor risk assessment and procurement experience including privacy DPA SLA and security reviews (nice to have)
Responsibilities

- Drive initiatives end to end from discovery to PoC pilot rollout adoption and monitoring
- Establish an AI governance framework covering data handling access vendor approvals logging and policies
- Coordinate cross department execution define roadmap align stakeholders and remove blockers
- Evaluate and onboard external vendors and partners including pilots due diligence and TCO ROI analysis
- Create documentation requirements decision logs playbooks and transparent progress reporting
- Monitor AI industry developments and translate relevant practices into internal use cases
