Alpha Researcher/Execution Trader

About the Role

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative or technical discipline
• Strong analytical and statistical foundation
• 2+ years of programming experience applied to data analysis, research, or backtesting
• 4+ years of trading experience across any asset class with understanding of derivatives, risk management, and market microstructure
• Strong market judgement and ability to perform in fast-moving 24/7 markets
• Crypto trading experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Manage intraday and overnight portfolio risk, monitoring positions, exposures, and market conditions, and escalate issues when required
• Execute trades within defined strategy parameters, ensuring best execution and disciplined order management
• Maintain high operational standards across execution workflows, including reconciliations, trade checks, and strategy rebalances
• Develop strong market intuition and judgement, staying informed on market news, flows, and structural changes
• Build a deep understanding of the existing research pipeline and deployed trading strategies
• Collaborate to design, test, and deploy new semi-systematic and discretionary strategies
