Associate, Energy Origination
About the Role
You will analyze market trends and industry data to identify growth opportunities. You will build and maintain complex financial models, perform valuation and due diligence on potential transactions, and support the full lifecycle of M&A and partnership deals. You will prepare investment memoranda and board presentations, coordinate with internal teams and external advisors, track performance of completed transactions, and provide recommendations to improve outcomes. You will manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance Business Administration Economics or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in corporate development investment banking management consulting or related field
- Proven track record supporting M&A transactions and strategic initiatives
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Experience with valuation and due diligence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strategic thinking and business acumen
- Strong interpersonal skills
