Backend Engineer
About the Role
You will architect, develop, and execute on the product roadmap by building robust backend services and GraphQL APIs. You will evaluate web3 technologies and decide when to integrate third-party APIs or build in-house. You will design well-tested, well-monitored systems, improve infrastructure and observability, and collaborate with frontend engineers to ship production features.
Requirements
- 4+ years writing production software
- Experience building and maintaining a production system at scale
- Be a self-starter in proposing and carrying out technical solutions to ambiguous business problems
- Passion for continuously improving dev-ops for yourself and fellow engineers
- Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and execute on the product roadmap
- Discover and evaluate web3 technologies and determine when to use third-party APIs or build in-house
- Build products on top of the GraphQL API alongside frontend engineers
- Architect backend services that are well-monitored and well-tested
- Improve infrastructure and monitoring continuously
