Business Analyst, Prime
About the Role
You will support the day-to-day operations of the trading business, manage reporting and workflow tracking, and assist with client onboarding and trade lifecycle questions. You will perform data analysis using Python, SQL, and Excel to validate metrics and track KPIs, identify and resolve data inconsistencies, coordinate small projects and workflow improvements, gather requirements and perform user testing for new features, maintain operational documentation and playbooks, and join client and internal calls to provide support and follow-through on action items.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in business operations, financial services, trading support, consulting, or similar analytical roles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure problems, work with data, and communicate insights clearly
- Familiarity with financial markets or crypto or a strong desire to learn quickly
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Experience working with Python, SQL, or data visualization tools
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day trading operations including reporting, workflow tracking, and process coordination
- Assist with client onboarding, trade lifecycle questions, and operational inquiries
- Maintain documentation, playbooks, and operational procedures
- Assist sales with RFP and due diligence documentation
- Perform data analysis using Python, SQL, and Excel
- Track KPIs and support weekly and monthly reporting
- Identify data inconsistencies or operational gaps and drive resolution
- Collaborate with RevOps, TradeOps, Sales, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Product teams
- Coordinate small projects and workflow improvements to ensure deliverables stay on track
- Support implementation of new product features by gathering requirements, documenting needs, and performing user testing
- Join client and internal calls to provide support and ensure follow-through
