Business Data Analyst
About the Role
You will analyze large financial, operational, and market datasets to inform strategic decisions. You will design and implement financial and time-series forecasting models, automate data-cleaning workflows, and build interactive dashboards and pipelines. You will interact with on-chain wallets and dApps to support crypto initiatives and deliver clear data-backed recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of Crypto and DeFi including tokenomics, staking mechanisms, and DeFi protocols
- Strong ability to develop Excel-based financial models including three-statement forecasting and company valuation using WACC and FCFF
- Experience designing and implementing automated data-cleaning workflows, BI tool integration, and dashboard development
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Databricks, and Excel VBA
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate project feasibility, investor readiness, and budget planning and deliver data-backed strategic recommendations
- Interact with crypto wallet addresses and decentralized applications to support on-chain initiatives
- Analyze large-scale financial, operational, and market datasets using statistical models to support executive decision-making
- Research and consolidate industry data from public and proprietary sources and normalize unstructured BI data
- Design and implement advanced financial models for efficiency optimization, dynamic pricing, and budget forecasting
- Develop statistical and time series models to forecast pricing and customer behavior and integrate scenario analysis
- Build interactive dashboards and automated data pipelines to visualize financial and operational metrics
