Business Development APAC Lead, Stablecoins
About the Role
You will lead go-to-market efforts for stablecoin issuance and banking solutions across APAC or MEA. You will originate and close strategic partnerships with banks and enterprises, manage the full deal lifecycle from sourcing through onboarding, and structure complex commercial agreements. You will advise clients on applying blockchain and digital asset solutions to treasury, FX settlement, and inter-bank transactions. You will gather market intelligence to inform the product roadmap and act as an ambassador for stablecoin products while focusing on direct sales and revenue generation.
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge of blockchain and digital assets applied to inter-bank challenges
- Understanding of fund flows, settlement mechanics, correspondent banking and cross-border payment flows
- Strong network of contacts within APAC or MEA banking and financial enterprises with decision-makers
- Acquaintance with existing and potential stablecoin issuers in the region
- Familiarity with regional regulatory landscape and main actors
- 10+ years of experience managing institutional client engagement processes including sourcing, structuring complex payment and settlement deals, navigating to completion, and ensuring successful onboarding
- Excellent communication skills and sales acumen
- Ability to work in a fast paced startup environment
- Primary focus on direct sales and revenue generation
