Business Development Associate
About the Role
You will conduct market research and analyze industry data to identify trends and opportunities. You will target and qualify prospective clients, nurture leads through the sales funnel, perform outreach via cold calling and events, manage CRM records, hold client meetings, negotiate agreements, produce sales reports, and use Telegram and Discord for outreach and support.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles in the technology sector
- Experience in DeFi and Web3 required
- Fluency in Japanese
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with CRM software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Experience using Telegram and Discord
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential customers, and competitors' activities
- Analyze industry data to evaluate market potential and identify areas for growth
- Identify and target prospective clients through cold calling, networking, and industry events
- Qualify leads and nurture opportunities through the sales funnel
- Collaborate with sales team members to develop and implement sales strategies
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Conduct regular client meetings to understand needs, gather feedback, and ensure satisfaction
- Provide exceptional customer support
- Negotiate business terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements
- Track and analyze sales data to measure progress and identify improvement areas
- Provide regular reports to management on sales performance and market trends
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements
- Contribute to continuous improvement of business development processes and strategies
