Business Development Lead – Onchain Capital Markets
About the Role
You will drive Algorand's tokenization strategy by securing and managing commercial partnerships with asset owners fund managers and tokenization platforms. You will originate and close deals with institutional partners support integrations with technical and product teams ensure compliance with institutional standards and structure liquidity programs. You will represent the organization at industry events maintain regulatory and custodial relationships and coordinate internal stakeholders to deliver partner outcomes.
Requirements
- 7+ years experience in business development investment management structured products or capital markets ideally in a front-office or client-facing role
- Based in or with strong professional ties to a major global financial hub such as New York London or Dubai
- Deep professional network across financial institutions asset managers tokenization providers or institutional investors
- Strong grasp of financial instruments including money market funds Treasuries private credit and structured yield products adapted for blockchain
- Solid understanding of blockchain and DeFi mechanics including RWAs as collateral yield primitives and cross-chain liquidity
- Proven track record of originating and closing high-value partnerships
- Experience with tokenization platforms or digital securities issuers is a plus
- Familiarity with cross-chain and compliance infrastructure is a plus
- Background in institutional sales structured finance or venture partnerships in fintech or digital assets is a plus
Responsibilities
- Identify structure and close strategic partnerships with asset managers tokenization platforms and custodians to bring tokenized products onchain
- Cultivate partnerships with regulated tokenization providers in the United States European Union United Kingdom and United Arab Emirates to expand issuance capabilities and cross-border distribution
- Engage directly with financial institutions family offices and corporate treasuries to drive adoption of tokenized yield products and onchain capital markets
- Collaborate with DeFi protocols and infrastructure partners to ensure composability and liquidity of tokenized assets
- Leverage an existing professional network to open doors with institutional allocators fintech innovators and blockchain-native funds
- Represent the organization at industry events and conferences to position tokenized finance
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with financial regulators custodians and RWA infrastructure providers
- Oversee the full lifecycle of partnerships from deal close through integration delivery and long-term growth
- Coordinate with technical and product teams to support integration efforts and ensure compliance with institutional standards including KYC and identity frameworks
- Align internal priorities track progress and remove obstacles to keep initiatives on schedule while maintaining strong partner communication
- Assist in structuring liquidity programs and co-incentives to strengthen RWA adoption and trading activity
