Business Development Lead
About the Role
You will identify and target high-value institutional clients, build and maintain a strong pipeline, develop and nurture partnerships with trading firms hedge funds and exchanges, conduct market research and competitor analysis, create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals, represent the organization at industry events, follow up proactively with clients to close deals, and report market insights to leadership. Expect regular travel to meet clients and attend conferences.
Requirements
- Proven track record in business development sales or account management within web3 crypto or blockchain
- Direct experience working with professional traders within banks hedge funds or trading firms
- Deep understanding of derivatives trading and capital markets
- Background in trading sales sales-trading or structuring in fixed-income derivatives or structured products preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-starter with ability to generate leads and manage complex sales cycles
- Ability to collaborate with product technical and leadership stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 30-50%
- Fluency in at least one foreign language is a plus
