Business Development Manager
About the Role
You will own the front of the sales cycle for chain operator partnerships. You will proactively prospect via Discord, Telegram, Twitter and LinkedIn, qualify inbound leads, and run discovery meetings. You will manage opportunities in CRM, forecast pipeline, and meet measurable activity targets. You will collaborate with Product, DevRel, Marketing and Engineering to refine messaging, communicate platform feedback, and help close complex technical partnerships.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience prospecting in a sales role preferably with software infrastructure or Web3 experience
- Experience working with chain operators
- Proficient with CRM and collaboration tools such as Salesforce Outreach Gong Slack Discord Telegram
- Strong knowledge of Web3 blockchain Layer1 rollup and appchain ecosystems
- Ability to navigate technical sales cycles and work cross-functionally
- Proven track record meeting measurable activity targets
- Track record prospecting to senior stakeholders
- Ability to multitask prioritize and work effectively in a remote environment
- Exceptional listening verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to learn continuously
Responsibilities
- Prospect chain operators via Discord Telegram Twitter LinkedIn
- Qualify inbound leads
- Maximize channel partnerships to generate leads
- Broker introductions and assist with funnel and opportunity management
- Monitor blockchain ecosystem trends competitor activity and customer needs
- Collaborate with Product DevRel Marketing to align and execute prospecting strategy
- Refine messaging positioning and value propositions for outreach
- Create tailored messaging for outbound campaigns
- Communicate platform feedback and feature requests to Product and Engineering
- Document leads opportunities and meetings in CRM daily
- Forecast opportunity pipeline accurately on an ongoing basis
- Meet measurable activity targets quarterly
