Business Development Representative
About the Role
You will identify and research potential clients in financial institutions, conduct outreach via phone, email and social media, qualify leads and schedule meetings, manage follow up conversations and marshal resources to close business. You will maintain CRM records, collaborate on sales strategies, track industry trends and report lead-generation outcomes to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Computer Science or related field
- 3-5+ years of experience in sales or business development within the financial services industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience maintaining CRM data integrity
Responsibilities

- Conduct outreach via phone, email and social media to engage prospects
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings focused on high-value opportunities
- Manage follow up conversations and marshal appropriate team members and resources
- Collaborate with team members to develop sales strategies for financial services
- Maintain accurate records of leads and interactions in the CRM
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities and evolving needs of financial institutions
- Provide regular updates on lead generation efforts and outcomes to management
