Business Development Representative
About the Role
You will engage with prospects via phone, personalized email, video conferencing, and other messaging platforms. You will identify and qualify new inbound and outbound sales opportunities, develop and iterate outbound campaigns, and provide feedback to improve lead qualification and scoring. You will partner with Sales to penetrate key accounts, keep detailed activity notes and maintain data cleanliness in Salesforce, and represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and events. Some travel will be required. You will work on a hybrid schedule in the New York office, onsite 2–3 days per week.
Requirements
- Prior BDR or SDR experience within the technology sector (preferred)
- Experience in customer-facing roles
- Initiative in sourcing opportunities via LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and news signals
- Ability to quickly understand and pitch new products and technology with a focus on value proposition
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn
- Ability to quickly adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to own failures and learn from them
- Financial services, fintech, blockchain, cybersecurity, or crypto industry experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities

- Provide feedback to Marketing on campaign performance and improve lead qualification and lead scoring
- Develop, test, and iterate outbound campaigns to generate new opportunities
- Partner with Sales to strategically penetrate key accounts
- Maintain detailed activity notes and ensure data cleanliness in Salesforce
- Represent the company and educate prospects at trade shows, conferences, and events
- Travel as required
