Business Development Representative

About the Role

You will engage prospects via phone, personalized email, and video conferencing to generate and qualify inbound and outbound opportunities. You will build and maintain a pipeline, develop and iterate outbound campaigns, support Sales Engineering with product demonstrations, keep CRM data clean, and represent the company at events. You will be based in the Zurich office and travel to conferences and trade shows as required.

Requirements

  • Prior BDR or SDR experience within the technology sector
  • Experience building a pipeline by qualifying leads and developing opportunities
  • Initiative in sourcing opportunities using tools like LinkedIn and Drift
  • Ability to understand and pitch new products and technology focusing on value proposition
  • Natural curiosity and eagerness to learn
  • Ability to quickly adapt to change in a fast paced environment
  • Willingness to take ownership and learn from failure

Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospects via phone email and video conferencing
  • Identify and qualify outbound and inbound sales opportunities
  • Develop test and iterate outbound campaigns
  • Partner with Sales to penetrate key accounts
  • Support Sales Engineering with product demonstrations
  • Maintain CRM data cleanliness in HubSpot and Salesforce
  • Provide feedback to Marketing on campaign performance and lead scoring
  • Represent the company and educate prospects at trade shows conferences and events
  • Travel to conferences trade shows and private events as required
