Business Development Representative

About the Role

You will engage prospects via phone, personalized email, and video conferencing to generate and qualify sales opportunities. You will build and iterate outbound campaigns, work closely with Marketing to improve lead qualification and scoring, and partner with Sales to penetrate key accounts. You will support Sales Engineering with product demonstrations, maintain accurate CRM records in HubSpot/Salesforce, and represent the company at trade shows and events. Expect some travel; this role is based in London.

Requirements

  • Prior BDR/SDR experience within the technology sector
  • Experience building a pipeline by qualifying leads and developing opportunities
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or Salesforce
  • Proficiency using LinkedIn and conversational sales tools (e.g., Drift)
  • Ability to understand and pitch new products and technologies
  • Natural curiosity and eagerness to learn
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with rejection and quick to own and learn from failures
  • Willingness to travel for events

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and iterate outbound campaigns
  • Partner with Sales to penetrate key accounts

  • Maintain accurate activity notes and data cleanliness in HubSpot/Salesforce
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and events; travel as required
