Chief of Staff
About the Role
You will own and execute cross-functional high-impact projects without a natural owner across business development, public policy, people, and operations. You will support people and culture projects by designing hiring processes, participating in interviews, and developing playbooks. You will coordinate closely with the CEO and leadership, align departments, identify opportunities to accelerate delivery, and escalate decision-making when needed. You will build a specialist area such as data analysis, business development, or financial modelling while also covering other priorities, including reorgs, complex operations projects, and administrative work for licensing. You must be adaptable, work across stakeholders, and travel approximately 15% to operating markets.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience at an international company in a high intensity or performing environment
- Strong track record in managing projects and or teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French
- Ability to collaborate cross functionally with different departments
- Growth mindset with openness and curiosity
- Experience in business development across Africa (preferred)
- Financial modelling or comfort with financial statements (preferred)
- SQL or data analysis tools (preferred)
