Community Manager

About the Role

You will manage and grow online communities across social platforms. You will post, reply, and moderate conversations; run AMAs and community sessions; surface user insights and concerns to internal teams; track community KPIs and translate them into recommendations; maintain the content calendar; and contribute content ideas and light creative support.

Requirements

  • Strong written communication skills and a natural feel for social platforms
  • Experience managing, supporting, and developing online communities, ideally in crypto, tech, or fintech
  • Demonstrated ability to earn credibility and respect within online communities through integrity and consistency
  • Comfortable engaging directly with users and handling both positive and negative feedback professionally and sensitively
  • Organized, proactive, and able to juggle multiple platforms simultaneously
  • Genuine interest in blockchain and experience in the Algorand community
  • Experience with Discord moderation or community tooling
  • Familiarity with crypto Twitter, Reddit culture, and Web3 communities
  • Experience supporting AMAs, live chats, or community events

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day community activity across X, Reddit, Discord, CoinMarketCap, and LinkedIn
  • Build and maintain trust-based relationships with community members through transparent and consistent engagement
  • Act as a credible representative by providing accurate and thoughtful responses
  • Post, reply, and moderate to keep channels active, helpful, and welcoming
  • Foster a community culture rooted in mutual respect and open dialogue
  • Plan, organize, and run AMAs and community sessions
  • Engage with community members regularly and surface insights, questions, and concerns to internal teams
  • Manage relationships and co-marketing activity with ecosystem partners from a social and community perspective
  • Track and report core community KPIs such as growth, activity, and sentiment and translate them into recommendations
  • Support governance and ecosystem milestones by educating the community and handling FAQs
  • Create and upkeep a dynamic content calendar
  • Contribute content ideas, captions, and provide light creative support for social channels
