Community Manager
About the Role
You will run and grow the project's online and offline communities. You will manage and secure Discord and Telegram, create educational content, moderate conversations, handle member questions, coordinate events, run AMAs and webinars, manage moderators and ambassadors, analyze engagement metrics, and report insights. You will attend and represent the project at in-person events and join weekly calls in the Singapore time zone. This is a remote contract role.
Requirements
- Proven experience in community management and engagement strategies
- Expert-level experience managing, configuring, and securing Discord
- Experience managing Telegram communities
- Ability to analyze community data and trends to drive growth
- Experience organizing events, AMAs, and webinars
- Experience managing moderators and ambassador programs
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Proactive, creative, and able to execute quickly
- Available to join weekly calls in the Singapore time zone
- This is a contract remote role
Responsibilities
- Manage and expand community presence on Discord and Telegram
- Create educational content
- Moderate discussions to maintain an active and informed community
- Cultivate relationships with community members and address inquiries and concerns
- Organize and coordinate community events, webinars, and AMAs
- Manage moderators and ambassadors to ensure high engagement
- Provide regular reports and insights on community engagement and sentiment
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities
- Organize and attend in-person events and act as public spokesperson
