Corporate Counsel
About the Role
You will provide commercial legal and regulatory support for on-chain products and infrastructure. You will advise product managers, business development, and operations on legal issues related to blockchain infrastructure, DEXs, and digital payments. You will draft, revise, and negotiate Web3, partnership, vendor, and technology agreements; research and review U.S. and international compliance requirements; monitor regulatory and policy developments; design and scale legal processes and procedures; and perform legal research as needed. You will work cross-functionally with Partnerships, Product, Marketing/Communications, and Operations to communicate legal risk in business-centric ways.
Requirements
- J.D. and currently licensed in a U.S. state with 3+ years of post-qualification legal experience
- Preferably experience with consumer financial services fintech bank or crypto/blockchain company
- Strong interest in digital currency and blockchain technology
- Practical transactional and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with regulatory issues relevant to Web3
- Ability to manage multiple projects in an evolving environment
- Proven problem-solving communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity
- Outstanding communication skills
- Sense of humor
- Knowledge of blockchain technology and Ethereum is a strong plus
Responsibilities
- Provide commercial legal and regulatory support for on-chain products and infrastructure

- Draft revise and negotiate commercial agreements including Web3 partnership vendor and technology transactions
- Work cross-functionally with Partnerships Product Marketing/Communications and Operations
- Assist in designing and scaling legal processes and procedures
- Monitor relevant regulatory and policy developments
- Conduct legal research as needed
