Data Engineer
About the Role
You will maintain and develop core data infrastructure, schemas, data pipelines and ETL jobs. You will automate the collection, cleaning, and aggregation of data from third-party sources and parse smart contract logs. You will ensure data quality and availability that power the platform. You will support the development of predictive models by providing labels and metadata about cryptocurrency activity, and address query optimization and database performance challenges.
Requirements
- Proven track record and experience as a Data Engineer or Backend Engineer
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proficient with SQL relational databases database administration and schema design with RDBMS like PostgreSQL
- Previous experience with ETL pipelines
- Familiarity with the blockchain ecosystem and strong passion to learn more
- Self-starter able to operate independently and focus on delivery
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats navigating ambiguity and adapting to changing priorities
