Data Scientist
About the Role
You will take ownership of research and development initiatives and design, build, and maintain robust machine learning systems that detect threats and malware in blockchain transaction data. You will devise and run analytics experiments to find actionable insights from large event streams, apply sound ML experimentation and measurement practices, and produce reliable, production-ready data products. You will implement software engineering fundamentals in model development and deployment, work across data stacks and cloud infrastructure, and prioritize pragmatic, simple solutions to complex problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Masters or PhD preferred
- 2+ years of commercial data science experience
- Experience with event driven architectures is a plus
- Well versed in Python
- Proficient in SQL
- Proficient in ML experimentation and measurement
- Familiarity with the blockchain ecosystem
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals
