Data Scientist
About the Role
You will design, prototype, and deploy data-driven solutions to detect and prevent fraud. You will work directly with clients to understand their fraud challenges, rapidly build proof-of-concept models, and productionize scalable machine learning and graph analytics solutions. You will define and evolve risk metrics and datasets, measure causal impact of interventions, and collaborate with engineering to integrate and optimize models in production. Expect a hands-on role that balances client-facing problem solving, rigorous analysis, and practical implementation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science or quantitative modeling, ideally in risk or fraud
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, etc.)
- Strong working knowledge of Python, R, Spark, and SQL
- Experience with machine learning modeling and deployment
- Sharp critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to explain complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
