DeFi Algorithmic Trading Internship
About the Role
You will research on-chain protocols and run data-driven experiments to advance understanding of decentralized finance. You will investigate protocol microstructure and design mechanisms, program in Rust or Python, work across multiple codebases and languages, perform statistical and quantitative analyses, use Linux and Git, and collaborate with traders and developers while receiving mentorship.
Requirements
- Proficiency in programming with Rust or Python
- Comfortable working on Linux environments and using Git
- Experience with programmatic statistical analysis and quantitative analysis
- High level understanding of high-frequency market making strategies
- Understanding of blockchain fundamentals and EVM mechanics
- Familiarity with smart contract development and the Foundry toolkit
- Passion for learning about protocol microstructure and design mechanisms
- Student status and availability for a preferably six month internship placement
