Developer Relations Engineer (APAC)
About the Role
You will engage directly with developers to provide technical support, deliver workshops, create tutorials and documentation, and contribute to open source. You will gather developer feedback and relay it to product and engineering, assess technical proposals, and collaborate with internal teams to align outreach with strategic goals.
Requirements
- Fluency in one or more general-purpose languages such as TypeScript, Python, Go, Rust, or Java
- Fundamentals of Solidity
- Deep understanding of blockchain technology and EVM solutions
- Strong English communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) or Korean
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Bachelor in computer science or equivalent work experience
- Prior experience in developer relations or developer advocacy (nice to have)
- Commercial experience with Solidity (nice to have)
- Exposure to Rust (nice to have)
- Open-source contributions in the EVM space (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with developers
- Act as a point of contact for technical inquiries and support
- Develop and execute strategies to grow and nurture the developer community
- Organize meetups, webinars, workshops, and events
- Create and maintain technical documentation and tutorials
- Contribute to open source projects
- Gather developer feedback and relay it to product and engineering teams
- Collaborate with marketing, product management, and engineering
- Track and analyze developer engagement metrics
- Assess technical leads and grant proposals from a technical standpoint
