Developer Relations Engineer
About the Role
You will drive adoption of Layer 2 solutions by engaging with developers, running workshops and webinars, and producing clear technical documentation and tutorials. You will act as a primary technical contact for developer inquiries, assess technical proposals, contribute to open-source projects, gather developer feedback, and use metrics to refine outreach.
Requirements
- Fluent in one or more general-purpose languages (TypeScript, Python, Go, Rust, Java)
- Fundamentals of Solidity
- Deep understanding of blockchain technology and EVM solutions
- Strong English communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
- Bachelor in computer science or equivalent work experience
- Prior experience in developer relations or developer advocacy (nice to have)
- Demonstrated community building and engagement experience (nice to have)
- Prior commercial experience with Solidity (nice to have)
- Exposure to Rust (nice to have)
- Open-source contributions in the EVM space (nice to have)
- Additional languages such as Spanish, Hindi, Chinese, Korean, or Japanese (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with developers
- Act as a primary point of contact for technical inquiries and support
- Organize meetups, webinars, and workshops
- Create and maintain technical documentation and tutorials
- Contribute to open source projects and educational materials
- Gather developer feedback and relay it to product and engineering teams
- Collaborate with marketing, product management, and engineering
- Track and analyse developer engagement metrics
- Assess leads such as grant proposals and product requirement documents from a technical standpoint
