Developer Relations Engineer
About the Role
You will be the bridge between the core engineering team and the global developer community. You will empower developers to build on Sei by providing hands-on technical support, creating tutorials and sample code, engaging on community platforms, gathering developer feedback, and collaborating with partners to grow the ecosystem.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Developer Relations Engineer, Technical Support, Protocol Integrations, or Software Engineer within crypto
- 2+ years experience with Solidity
- Familiarity with YUL and Vyper (preferred)
- STEM degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Experience with Ethereum clients and adjacent infrastructure (e.g., Geth)
- Familiarity with tools like Foundry, Hardhat, and wallets
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated experience engaging and growing developer communities on Discord, Telegram, and similar platforms
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on assistance to developers, troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and communicate best practices
- Develop and maintain technical resources such as tutorials, sample code, documentation, and blog posts
- Participate in developer communities on platforms like Discord, Telegram, and GitHub and address questions
- Gather insights from the developer community to inform product decisions and improve developer experience
- Collaborate with partners and projects to expand ecosystem reach and adoption
