DevOps Engineer
About the Role
You will assist the development team in building and operating infrastructure that supports production sequencer software and test networks. You will monitor and manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), help maintain CI/CD pipelines and code management practices, and develop tooling for deployment and operations. You will work with containers, Terraform, and the Linux command line to automate deployments, improve reliability, and troubleshoot production systems.
Requirements
- Experience working with containers in hosted environments
- Experience with Terraform or other declarative cloud operations technologies
- Comfort working in the Linux command line
- Preferred: Experience with Ansible
- Preferred: Experience with AWS container orchestration
- Preferred: Experience with Docker
- Preferred: Experience with GitHub Actions
- Preferred: Experience with Nix
- Preferred: Experience with Rust
- Preferred: Experience with Terraform
