DevOps Engineer
About the Role
You will design implement and maintain DevOps processes and practices to ensure the reliability security and scalability of infrastructure. You will manage CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure provisioning across cloud environments. You will architect deploy and maintain applications and services on Kubernetes especially EKS and apply infrastructure as code tools to automate configuration. You will implement security best practices monitor system performance using observability tools troubleshoot issues and continuously optimize infrastructure for performance scalability and cost effectiveness. You will participate in on call rotations to provide 24/7 support across multiple time zones.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field or equivalent of 5 years experience
- At least 3 years of experience with cloud platforms preferably AWS and Linux systems
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab Jenkins or Harness and Git version control
- Expertise in Kubernetes deployment and management especially EKS
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience implementing security best practices in a DevOps environment
- Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack or equivalents
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python Golang Shell Java and JavaScript
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to work with minimal guidance
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple time zones
