Director, Accelerator Programs
About the Role
You will run the DePIN Surf accelerator end-to-end. You will source and select seed-stage DePIN, AI, and RWA startups; design and deliver a six-week virtual curriculum; mentor founders; facilitate workshops, pitch sessions, demo days, and networking events; manage mentor and investor relationships; run program operations including budgets and metrics; and operate community channels such as Discord and podcast/interview series.
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of startup or tech experience, including at least 2+ years in managerial or leadership roles
- Proven ability to plan, lead, and execute accelerator programs, including running standups and workshops
- Venture capital experience with ability to conduct due diligence and allocate capital
- Strong understanding of Web3 technologies, blockchain, and AI
- Demonstrated experience in ecosystem building and stakeholder relationship management
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Experience in curriculum development and delivering educational programs
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with operational excellence and strategic thinking
- Proven track record of driving program success through data-driven decision-making
- Passion for mentoring and supporting early-stage ventures
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, execution, and evaluation of the accelerator program
- Curate diverse cohorts of DePIN startups through recruiting and selection
- Develop and implement a six-week virtual curriculum covering fundraising, tokenomics, community growth, network and token launch, and go-to-market strategies
- Manage and mentor startups throughout the program, providing personalized guidance and support
- Facilitate workshops, pitch sessions, demo days, and networking events
- Track key metrics and analyze program outcomes to drive continuous improvement
- Cultivate and expand relationships with investors, VCs, KOLs, researchers, exchanges, layer1 and infrastructure partners
- Build and manage a network of mentors and advisors
- Manage Discord and other social channels to foster community among startups, mentors, and partners
- Host podcasts, interviews, and Twitter Spaces with founders, mentors, and industry leaders
- Develop and manage program budgets and resources
- Collaborate with BD, marketing, product, and tech teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution
- Implement data-driven decision-making processes to optimize program performance
