Director of E-Commerce

About the Role

You will build and lead a new direct-to-consumer retail brand from the ground up. You will define product drops, develop go-to-market strategies, and manage P&L and financial forecasts. You will stand up e-commerce operations including stack selection, logistics, inventory systems, and post-purchase experience, and recruit and manage hires and external partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 6+ years of experience in consumer e-commerce or digitally native brand environments
  • Experience launching and scaling a direct-to-consumer or consumer-facing brand
  • Ability to own and manage a P&L with fluency in financial modeling and unit economics
  • Experience building operational infrastructure across e-commerce fulfillment and customer experience
  • Deep understanding of digital growth levers such as CAC LTV conversion AOV and retention
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Resourceful and execution-oriented with comfort operating in ambiguity

Responsibilities

  • Define, launch, and scale the consumer retail platform
  • Own P&L and build financial models to manage revenue and margin KPIs
  • Develop go-to-market strategy for product drops pricing and channel selection
  • Collaborate with creative and marketing partners to develop products
  • Stand up e-commerce stack logistics inventory systems and post-purchase experience
  • Recruit and manage hires contractors and external partners across growth merchandising and customer experience
