Director of E-Commerce
About the Role
You will build and lead a new direct-to-consumer retail brand from the ground up. You will define product drops, develop go-to-market strategies, and manage P&L and financial forecasts. You will stand up e-commerce operations including stack selection, logistics, inventory systems, and post-purchase experience, and recruit and manage hires and external partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- 6+ years of experience in consumer e-commerce or digitally native brand environments
- Experience launching and scaling a direct-to-consumer or consumer-facing brand
- Ability to own and manage a P&L with fluency in financial modeling and unit economics
- Experience building operational infrastructure across e-commerce fulfillment and customer experience
- Deep understanding of digital growth levers such as CAC LTV conversion AOV and retention
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and external partners
- Resourceful and execution-oriented with comfort operating in ambiguity
Responsibilities
- Define, launch, and scale the consumer retail platform
- Own P&L and build financial models to manage revenue and margin KPIs
- Develop go-to-market strategy for product drops pricing and channel selection
- Collaborate with creative and marketing partners to develop products
- Stand up e-commerce stack logistics inventory systems and post-purchase experience
- Recruit and manage hires contractors and external partners across growth merchandising and customer experience
