Director of Events
About the Role
You will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of event programs across hosted experiences, sponsorships, and industry conferences. You will align event programming with sales and marketing goals, design content and formats, and manage speaker coordination and onsite logistics. You will run virtual and hybrid events, select platforms, define KPIs, track performance, manage budgets, and report on ROI. You will manage agency and vendor relationships and serve as the on-site lead at key events, advocating for innovation in event formats and attendee experience.
Requirements
- 7–12 years of experience leading strategic event, experiential, or field marketing programs
- Preferably experience in financial services, fintech, asset management, or high-growth sectors
- Demonstrated success building and delivering virtual, hybrid, and in-person event strategies
- Detail-oriented with high standards for quality, brand consistency, and attendee experience
- Proven leadership in managing vendors and partners including negotiation and on-site coordination
- Demonstrated interest in crypto, digital assets, or disruptive high-growth industries
Responsibilities
- Lead strategy, planning, and execution of event presence including hosted experiences, sponsorships, and conference participation
- Align event programming with sales goals and marketing campaigns to drive engagement and accelerate pipeline growth
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Channel Marketing, Product, and Brand to deliver audience-specific experiences
- Oversee content strategy, speaker coordination, format design, onsite logistics, and post-event engagement
- Manage execution of virtual and hybrid events and select digital platforms to scale reach
- Define KPIs, track performance, forecast budgets, and report on ROI and strategic outcomes
- Manage agency and vendor relationships to ensure seamless execution and cost-efficiency
- Serve as the on-site lead at key events and advocate for innovation in event formats and attendee experience
