Director of Finance
About the Role
You will develop and implement financial strategies, lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions. You will oversee accounting operations including AP/AR, general ledger, and payroll, ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting, coordinate audits and tax filings, manage cash flow, treasury, and capital allocation, optimize financial systems and processes, evaluate growth and M&A opportunities, and mentor and manage the finance and accounting team.
Requirements
- 10-15 years of progressive finance experience, including high-tech start-up experience
- Experience with hardware companies preferred
- Proven track record in senior finance leadership
- Expertise in technical accounting, financial modeling, budgeting, and reporting
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and corporate accounting principles
- Experience managing audits, compliance, and regulatory reporting
- Hands-on experience managing finance and accounting processes in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
