Ecosystem Lead
About the Role
You will drive adoption of the protocol by identifying, onboarding, and enabling trading firms, DAOs, protocols, and liquidity providers. You will build and manage partnerships, engage professional and onchain traders, represent the protocol at events and communities, gather market feedback, and coordinate with product, marketing, and engineering to align ecosystem initiatives.
Requirements
- 4–6+ years in crypto, DeFi, or trading-related business development
- Experience engaging with institutional, professional, or algorithmic traders preferred
- Strong understanding of the DeFi trading ecosystem, onchain liquidity, and derivatives markets
- Familiarity discussing DeFi integrations, trading interfaces, liquidity routing, and basic smart contract interaction
- Ability to prioritize and execute high-impact relationships across trading firms, protocols, and strategic partners
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and credibility with institutional and crypto-native trading teams
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment across time zones
- Relationships with trading firms, onchain liquidity providers, or DeFi asset managers (bonus)
- Background in crypto trading, DeFi strategy, or protocol-facing business development (bonus)
- Understanding of structured products or fixed income onchain or offchain (bonus)
Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard high-impact ecosystem participants including trading firms, DAOs, protocols, and liquidity providers
- Establish and manage partnerships with institutions and DeFi-native players such as aggregators, trading protocols, vault strategists, and execution platforms
- Build relationships with professional and onchain traders and educate them on product integration and adoption
- Represent the protocol publicly at crypto conferences, trader meetups, and online communities
- Collect and synthesize insights from traders and partners to inform product-market fit and roadmap decisions
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering to align ecosystem initiatives with go-to-market and liquidity strategies
