Embedded Engineer (Part-Time)
About the Role
You will work directly with partners and customers to set up, configure, and validate embedded IoT devices. You install and configure operating systems and telemetry software on Raspberry Pi units, connect external modules via USB GPIO and CAN, configure LTE modems and SIM cards using AT commands, integrate sensors, deploy and troubleshoot project setups, and provide hands-on customer support to ensure successful deployments. You will work remotely most of the time and periodically visit Berlin for on-site installations and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Raspberry Pi hardware and peripheral connections including USB GPIO and CAN
- Experience with operating system installation and configuration on Raspberry Pi
- Basic knowledge of LTE modems and AT command usage
- Understanding of GPIO sensor connectivity and integration
- Customer-oriented with strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a startup environment
Responsibilities
