Engineering Manager, Foundations
About the Role
You will lead a team of engineers to develop a versatile modular platform, collaborate with product to define and deliver feature roadmaps, uphold engineering standards and mentor engineers, participate in hiring and onboarding, and drive improvements to engineering processes and organization.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in software engineering, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or managerial position
- Proven experience managing the complete engineering and delivery lifecycle of a product with strong customer empathy
- Experience developing large distributed systems and operating production platforms
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal and external partners
- Demonstrated servant leadership and the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team with ownership
- Experience coordinating technical stakeholders and making informed product decisions
- Experience in the blockchain/DeFi/Web3 space
