Equities Researcher
About the Role
You will produce data-driven research and investor-facing reports that quantify institutional traction. You will build and maintain detailed financial and token valuation models (DCF, revenue forecasts, comparables). You will author market notes, presentations and thought-leadership content, develop analytical tools using on-chain and off-chain data, and engage with industry experts and management to validate assumptions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
- 2–5 years of professional experience in investment research, equity analysis, investment banking or asset management
- Demonstrable knowledge of crypto markets and blockchain technology
- Proven financial modeling skills and advanced Excel proficiency
- Excellent writing and communication abilities for institutional audiences
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to synthesize large data sets into actionable insights
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with Python, SQL or data APIs (nice to have)
- Familiarity with on-chain analytics, tokenomics, DeFi and smart contracts (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth fundamental research on the blockchain ecosystem and digital assets
- Build and update detailed financial and valuation models for crypto firms and token projects
- Author and publish investor-facing research content such as equity reports, market notes and newsletters
- Identify and articulate high-conviction investment ideas and themes and deliver timely thought-leadership analyses
- Develop analytical tools and processes leveraging on-chain and off-chain data to assess token utility, network usage and risk
- Engage with industry experts, company management and investor relations to gather insights and validate assumptions
