Event Marketing Manager
About the Role
You will plan, execute, and measure Merkle Science's event presence worldwide. You will define event objectives and KPIs, manage budgets, coordinate logistics and vendors, and collaborate with sales and cross-functional teams to maximize pipeline impact. You will track post-event performance and recommend optimizations.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of experience in event marketing or field marketing
- Knowledge of trade show project management including strategy messaging design logistics vendor management budget execution and post-event analysis
- Experience in B2B or B2G marketing ecosystems preferred
- Proactive self-motivated with excellent organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable presenting strategy and results to senior leadership
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Salesforce reporting and analysis of marketing funnel metrics
- Willingness to travel occasionally less than 20 percent
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Account Executives to align event marketing strategy with account plans
- Plan execute and track event presence globally to maximize lead generation and pipeline growth
- Define event marketing objectives and metrics and conduct post-event evaluations
- Measure event impact against KPIs and recommend optimizations
- Manage event marketing budgets and report on budget utilization
- Track budget costs and communicate scope changes affecting the budget
- Act as point of contact and workstream leader for event marketing
- Coordinate logistical information for event attendees including schedules locations and registration details
- Evaluate third-party opportunities and build vendor relationships
- Collaborate with teams suppliers and contributors to deliver projects on schedule and within budget
- Stay informed about business development strategies and advocate for alignment where necessary
