Event Operations and Logistics Manager
About the Role
You will own end-to-end planning, logistics, and execution of external events — including conferences, booths, side-events, and executive dinners. You will coordinate vendors, manage budgets and timelines, negotiate contracts, run risk management, and create repeatable event playbooks. You will communicate proactively with cross-functional partners and support in-person activations when required.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience in event operations, logistics, or program management
- Proven ability to plan and execute multiple mid-to-large-scale events end-to-end
- Vendor management and contract negotiation experience
- Experience building and maintaining timelines, budget trackers, and risk management documentation
- Strong cross-functional communication with Marketing, Partnerships, Enterprise, and Finance
- Ability to remain composed under pressure and exercise sound judgment in high-stakes environments
- High emotional intelligence and ability to represent the company externally
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, asynchronous environment and attend in-person events multiple times per year (ideally within Pacific or Mountain Time)
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute presence at crypto conferences, including booth logistics, side-events, and executive dinners
- Own end-to-end event logistics and operations for large and medium-small scale events
- Develop and maintain event timelines, budget trackers, risk logs, and post-event retrospectives
- Manage vendors and negotiate contracts to ensure timely delivery of services
- Partner with Enterprise, Partnerships, Executive Business Partner, and Marketing to deliver activations
- Create repeatable event playbooks, vendor lists, checklists, and post-mortem templates
- Track event performance and ensure events meet objectives such as brand visibility and lead generation
