Executive Assistant, Founders
About the Role
You will support a founder in New York directly, managing their calendar, coordinating logistics for meetings and events, and triaging requests from executives, investors, and the broader team. You will create and scale processes for the executive office, handle travel and expense arrangements, and proactively anticipate needs to resolve issues. You will communicate clearly across teams, set best practices for the admin function, mentor other admins, and exercise discretion with highly confidential information.
Requirements
- 4+ years of work experience
- 2+ years directly supporting executives
- Reside in New York City and work in-person daily
- High integrity and discretion with confidential information
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High energy and a bias toward action
- Ability to anticipate needs and exercise sound judgment
- Creativity and strategic thinking
Responsibilities
- Manage daily schedule and coordinate logistics for internal and external meetings
- Triage and prioritize requests from executives, investors, and the broader team with discretion
- Schedule and coordinate logistics for speaking engagements, conferences, and special events
- Create, scale, and own processes for the executive office
- Set best practices and mentor the admin team
- Handle administrative tasks such as travel arrangements, expense processing, and ordering meals
- Anticipate needs and proactively resolve potential issues
- Communicate clearly and efficiently across teams
