Finance Manager

About the Role

You will bring accounting and financial reporting in-house from external providers. You will own the month-end close, management accounts and consolidated financial statements, and design and implement robust accounting processes, controls and work papers. You will manage and develop systems and processes for accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end and year-end reporting, tax and management accounts. You will select, implement and optimise finance systems and tools, coordinate with external providers on tax compliance, audits and regulatory obligations across jurisdictions, and develop crypto accounting expertise to provide actionable insights to management.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong technical accounting and reporting background
• Experience with US GAAP accounting is a plus
• Experience with digital asset accounting is a plus but not essential
• Experience managing an ERP system end-to-end (QuickBooks a plus)
• Experience in scale-up, FinTech, SaaS or high-growth environments preferred
• Experience optimising transfer pricing and multi-jurisdiction accounting is a plus
• Experience implementing finance systems and setting up processes from scratch
• Proactive, commercially minded and confident working closely with founders and senior stakeholders
• Comfortable being hands-on while thinking strategically
