Financial Accountant
About the Role
You will support day-to-day accounting operations across the organisation, preparing and posting journal entries, and executing month-end close activities including cash and balance sheet reconciliations with variance analysis. You will own and manage end-to-end accounts payable processes for both fiat and crypto, process vendor invoices and employee expenses, and reconcile AP sub-ledgers. You will prepare data for budgeting, management reporting, audits, tax and compliance, coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve accounting queries, and identify opportunities to improve AP processes, controls and automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting, finance or audit
- Familiarity with accounting systems and strong Excel skills
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with accounting software (preferably Sage Intacct) and modelling tools
- Hands-on and proactive with ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work on ad hoc projects and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented, analytical and adaptable
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities
