Forward Deployed Engineer
About the Role
You will design compelling product demos and execute pilots to help customers integrate OpenVM and the Axiom Proving API into their products. You will customize OpenVM for user needs, own technical customer relationships, and ensure successful product impact. You will work across the full stack—shipping frontend and backend code using Python, TypeScript, or similar—and deploy applications with Kubernetes and Terraform. You will communicate complex technical topics clearly to customers, make pragmatic engineering decisions, and shape the product roadmap by relaying customer needs.
Requirements
- Strong track record of shipping full-stack products across frontend and backend using Python, TypeScript, or comparable stacks
- Familiarity with deploying applications using Kubernetes and Terraform
- Clear communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and strong bias toward action
- Extremely strong work ethic
- Experience selling a product or doing customer-facing work (bonus)
- Experience with cryptography or blockchain engineering (bonus)
- Proficiency in Rust (bonus)
- Proficiency in C (bonus)
- Proficiency in C++ (bonus)
- Proficiency in Go (bonus)
