Forward Deployed Engineer
About the Role
You will work directly with national security customers to deploy, integrate, and operate the platform in secure environments. You will translate real customer problems into production-ready technical solutions, build and extend systems across application data and infrastructure layers, and integrate with customer environments using APIs cloud services data pipelines or distributed systems. You will own solutions end-to-end from initial deployment through production support and resolve mission-critical issues alongside customer teams. TS/SCI clearance is required and you must be based in Washington DC for in-person work; be prepared to travel up to 50% as needed.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Experience shipping mission-critical systems for government or national security customers
- Strong experience in Cloud Applied AI or Data Engineering
- Experience working in secure or regulated environments
- Comfort working directly with customers in high-stakes high-trust settings
- Clear communication with engineers and operators
- Located in Washington DC and available for in-person work
- Willingness to travel up to 50 percent
