Front End Engineer
About the Role
You will design and implement responsive, modern user interfaces using current JavaScript frameworks. You will work cross-functionally from ideation through architecture to delivery, partnering with product managers, designers, and analysts to understand user needs. You will produce high-quality code, participate in thorough code reviews, debug and test across browsers and devices, integrate third-party services via REST and GraphQL, and optimize sites for mobile. You will work in an agile process, collaborate with stakeholders, compliance, and QA, and contribute to team initiatives such as mentorship and recruitment.
Requirements
- 4+ years experience building web applications
- Hands-on experience with React and NextJS
- Experience with Node and NPM
- Strong JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills
- Experience integrating third-party services via REST and GraphQL
- Proficiency with Git and Jira
- Strong debugging skills using Chrome Developer Console
- Familiarity with software design approaches and common UX patterns
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong algorithms and computer science fundamentals
